Testimonials for My Work
“Casey was a joy to work with. She maintained a great sense of humor, even in stressful situations. She also challenged the team to question norms and consider new angles and ideas for approaching challenges. Because we were a small team, it was important for each of us to carry our weight, and Casey always did that – and then some. She was able to manage her tasks without oversight, and she knew how to solve problems on her own while still understanding when to seek assistance. All of these characteristics made Casey a great asset, both individually and as a team member.”
In the three years that Casey worked for Focus, she proved her self to be a creative writer, reliable, organized, and dedicated.
I am happy to recommend Casey as a strong candidate for employment at your agency. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
“Casey interned with me at St. Pete Pride, during my tenure as Executive Director. She was my intern for one semester and made herself an invaluable asset to our team. She carried herself with confidence, and distinguished herself from her peers with her natural curiosity, attention to detail and commitment to our mission and values as an organization.”
“When I contacted Casey via a friend, I was unsure of what a nonprofit coordinator would be able to do for my cause, but fortunately for me, Casey was very knowledgeable about the process. Within two days of that initial contact, we were sitting down to discuss how to generate the funds necessary to get to Haiti. Casey was able to explain step by step how we could plan and execute a fund raising event to pay for the plane ticket and supplies that I would need. She helped me to itemize every cost, both for the trip, and for the fundraising event itself. I would have been too overwhelmed to continue if not for her support. She made the process seem feasible, but never made it sound like it was like getting free money. She insisted that, with the proper amount of work, that it was completely possible to raise the funds.”
Casey is by far one of the best employees I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Her unique skill sets make her a instantaneous spring that elevates the talent in any unit. I presented her with a few projects and all of them were completed ahead of time , of excellent caliber and with superb attention to detail. I would strongly recommend her to any manager without a second thought.
“During the time I worked with Casey, she was responsible for writing help documentation, release notes, newsletters, training video scripts, and assisted with marketing materials and proposals as needed. She always took care to create accurate, helpful, and well-written documentation. In addition to these duties, she took a lead role in researching new platforms for our help system.Besides her work duties, Casey was a great co-worker in terms of sharing her time and knowledge with me. Her good nature made her a pleasure to work with.”
What else can I tell you about me?
When I'm not in front of a computer screen or buried in a book, these are some of the things I'm likely doing:
- Cooking -- I love to cook, especially Asian and Italian cuisines
- DIY House Projects -- my wife and I recently bought our first home! It's been an adventure, and we finally have a backyard. 🙂
- Binge-watching Netflix with Julie. When I retreat for some R&R, she's the perfect partner in crime.
- Wrangling the furry residents who run this household. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats. They move in a torrential herd.
